The artist paints funny portraits based on exotic fruits
Have you ever seen a sweet watermelon? A shocked carambola and arrogant grenade? No? Then unambiguously look at the series of touching fruit and vegetable portraits created by the Lithuani an illustratorMaria Tiourina, who, for several years now, has been living in London
These cute and childishly naive watercolor drawings take the viewer into the distant past, where there were no problems and worries. After all, childhood is the most amazing and beautiful time in which even everyday things, taking a different light, become something magical and unreal. But Mary has a story about how she came to the embodiment of ideas and what inspired her so much to create charming portraits of fruits and vegetables: "I am fortunate enough to live next to one of the best markets in London. And now during the last years, every week I go out there at least once, that I admire the huge assortment of beautiful vegetables and fruits.
